1. Start Happy Eyes’ software and click “Create new photo book wizard”
2. Choose:
   
   • size of the photo book (Luxury Quadrat, Standard, Landscape,Quadrat or Pocket)
   • default font and color for the captions
   • binding, and click “Move to next page”
3. Choose a category and select a cover by double clicking on it.
   The selected cover will appear in the Book Cover Preview on the right.
   Click “Move to next page”.
4. Select a background image. If you would rather like to use a color for background, choose one by pressing the color selection button on the right side. Click “Move to next page”.
5. To enable the list of frame categories check “Use Default Photo Frame”. The chosen frame will be used for all photos in the book.
6. Next you can choose the layout. You have two possibilities:
   
   Using a single page layout (category “1”)
   Select Same on Both Sides in order to use the same layout on both pages.
   Select Mirror Sides in order to have the layout mirrored on the other page.
   Select Differing Sides if you want to use different layouts for the pages.
   You can assign a layout by using the “Set to Left” and “Set to Right” buttons.
   
   Using a double page layout (category “2”)
   Select one of the predefined layouts by double clicking on it.
   Click “Move to next page”.
7. In the last step of the wizard you can automatically add and arrange photos into your photo book. By Clicking on the “plus” button a dialogue will appear where you can browse your hard disk for your photos.
   
   Tip: By pressing “Ctrl+A” you can select all files in a directory. After that press “Open” to add the selected photos.
   
   With the buttons on the right side of the dialog box you can change the order of the pictures. You can select one or multiple pictures (hold down the “Shift” key when clicking) and move them by pressing the corresponding buttons. If you want to see a picture in full size click on the button below the small preview window on the right side.
8. Click on the “Finish” button and
   YOUR PHOTO BOOK IS CREATED!!!

After creation the photo book will automatically be displayed in the Work Area. To view a full screen preview of your book: Click on the menu “Photo book” and chose “Photo book Preview”.

In the Work Area you have the possibility to add photos by dragging and dropping them from the File Explorer on the left side. You also can change the layout and background by dragging the items from the right side the cover, or the background on each page. You can delete or add text boxes and write your own captions. See the Happy Eyes manual below for details.

When you are satisfied with the result, save your photo book on your hard disk. For ordering, click the button “Upload Photo Book”. You will have to register on the Happy Eyes website to place an order. To do so, please take 3 minutes and go to the registration page.

Go back to the window “Upload Photo book”, fill in your data (email address, password). Press the “Start upload button”. The upload time will depend on your Internet connection and the quantity of photos in your photo book.

On our website you have the possibility to state up to ten (10) addresses to which copies of the book can be delivered. Click on the “Add order” button in “My Orders” to place additional orders. After successful payment your photo book will be processed for printing and delivered to your address.
